We are unable to offer you treatment for one of the following reasons:
- You are not aged 17+ and/or registered with a Leeds GP. To find a GP, please visit the NHS website.

Your responses to our questions have indicated that LMWS does not provide the most appropriate treatment for you. Please speak to your GP about what treatment may be suitable for you.

You have already completed a referral to our service and are awaiting a response. Please continue with the referral as the most appropriate treatment for you will be offered in due course.

You are currently engaging in (or on a waiting list for) one of our therapies (online, group, or face-to-face). Please continue with this process.

Alternative services and resources
General
- Anyone aged 17+ and registered with a Leeds GP can access our online mental health resource Omnitherapy – no referral needed.
- For a wide range of mental health and wellbeing resources, please visit MindWell.
- Make an appointment with your GP to discuss any mental or physical health issue. Find a GP.
- Contact the NHS by calling NHS 111.
Existing diagnosis
If you have a diagnosis of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety or health anxiety – LMWS may not offer the recommended treatment for you if your condition is severe or complex. Please speak to your GP about the treatment options available.
Alcohol and drug use
If you are seeking support for alcohol or drug use, please contact Forward Leeds.
Anger management
If you are seeking support for anger management, please visit the main NHS website or visit Mind.
Diabetes
If you are seeking support for physical symptoms of diabetes or advice regarding medication, please contact your GP, Leeds Programme Approach for Type 2 Diabetes, or Leeds Diabetes and Endocrinology for Type 1 Diabetes.
