Caroline said: “Anne’s thoughtfulness, positivity and cheerful spirit have been particularly welcomed by the SLT and Integrated Children’s Additional Needs therapy teams during these unprecedented times. She has cheered us all up with her humour and motivation.”
Sharon works with pre-school children with complex needs which can include working with families dealing with devastating medical conditions and dealing with extreme behaviour. She is described as an excellent team player and an outstanding clinician.
Caroline said: “Sharon has always amazed us with her skills, knowledge and ability to support families and their children. In addition to all this she is so humble, she reaches out and supports without expecting any praise or thanks. She does not realise how good she is and because of this is always striving to do better.”
Executive Director of Finance Bryan Machin, popped into their team meeting to tell them the good news. Speaking after the surprise,
Ann said: "A lot of being able to work well in this team is because this is such an amazing team. You’re all so knowledgeable, so supportive and so fun to be around. It’s a real team effort, thank you so much."
Sharon said: "I feel very overwhelmed and grateful. I feel like I’m working with my family not a team of colleagues, this is my extended family and I just love the work I do it means the world to me and I’ll never leave! I wasn’t expecting this at all it’s lovely, thank you."
