Join us and have your say

As a result of the staff and public consultation that took place at the end of 2011 (copies of the consultation report can be seen via the links on the right), Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is now working towards achieving foundation trust status in 2013.

This will make us a community focussed NHS organisation that:

  • is answerable to local people through our membership scheme and through a locally elected, and representative, Council of Governors
  • can invest any money we make back into our services to benefit local communities in Leeds

To achieve this we need members to sign up, and have a say in the future of local community healthcare services across Leeds.

As a member you will be able to help us develop services that local people like you, feel achieve our vision – delivering the best possible care to every community in Leeds. We will also be looking for members to stand for election onto the Council of Governors and have a say in the way in which we run the organisation at the highest level.

An engaged and vocal membership is key to our development, and future success. You can find out more about becoming a member, or sign up online, here.
