Selina Douglas Announced as New CEO Of Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust

The Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Selina Douglas as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Selina Douglas_6March24_0017_small (1)With a background in adult social care, Selina brings extensive and varied experience to the Trust, having worked for 25 years across a range of high level strategic and operational roles within the NHS, public sector and for a national charity. Most recently, Selina has led the transformation, strategic and partnership agenda for North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), as its Executive Director of Partnerships (November 2021 – present).

Brodie Clark, CBE Chair of Leeds Community Healthcare, said:

Her energy, expertise, and sound understanding of the challenges we face will be of great benefit in the future. She is absolutely committed to the development of the best possible community health services for the people of Leeds.”

Selina said: “I am delighted to be leading LCH, as its one of the most inclusive and innovative community health organisations nationally. Leeds is a fantastic vibrant place and am looking forward to getting to know the city better and delivering high quality services in partnership with local residents and colleagues.”

Selina is currently working through an induction programme to meet with patients of the Trust and their carers, also members of staff from the 3,000 strong workforce of nurses, therapists, pharmacists, non-clinical support workers and corporate teams who deliver all community healthcare services across the City and some specialist services across the wider Yorkshire and the Humber region
