Sports Physiotherapy

At the Leeds Musculoskeletal and Rehabilitation service we have a long history of successfully assessing & treating a variety of sports injuries.

Whether you are an occasional runner who has recently developed problems or a more serious athlete with long standing aches & pains, our team will complete a biomechanical assessment. Based on this assessment, the patient will be prescribed a treatment program to address their problem.

Our staff have many years experience in treating sports injuries and will apply this wealth of  knowledge to get you back to your sport as quick as possible.

Group Rehabilitation Classes within MSK Physiotherapy

We have a range of group rehabilitation programmes across the city. Several of these are based in local leisure centres to encourage our patients to engage in a healthier more active lifestyle once treatment has been completed.

Please note, the MSK Physiotherapy service is not available to the following groups:

  • Patients under the care of a consultant for the same condition and/or Private Physiotherapist
  • Patients under 18 years of age unless accompanied by an adult with parental consent.
  • Non-musculoskeletal conditions (e.g. neurological or respiratory)
  • Patients who require transport

If you have an MSK condition and feel you would benefit from the care and support of our service then please discuss a Leeds MSK referral with your GP.
