The Communicable Disease Control Team (CDC) are members of the community Infection Prevention and Control Team. The team are based within Leeds City Council’s Food and Health team and also work closely with Public Health England.
The CDC team provide a unique service in West Yorkshire and has been recognised as a model of good practice in communicable disease control and prevention.

The CDC service can be accessed by anyone who is experiencing or wants to report symptoms of gastrointestinal illness, for advice or information.
