Breast feeding groups

All breast feeding groups are currently suspended as part of the coronavirus restrictions.

Although we are unable to offer breastfeeding support groups and specialist clinics, we are able to offer support via telephone or virtual methods.

You are able to access our virtual breast-feeding support group held on Mondays at 9.30am and Tuesdays at 1.30pm.

This group is facilitated by a 0-19 Family Health worker and is an opportunity to meet breast feeding parents.

If you would like to join this virtual group please email : lcht.0-19breastfeedinggroup@nhs.net to book your place.

Please note you will need to book onto this group every week you wish to attend.

We are also able to offer a virtual specialised breast-feeding support on a 1:1 basis on a Friday. Please contact us on through our SPA on 0113 8435683 to book into this clinic or speak with your 0-7 Specialist Public Health Nurse.  We also continue to offer home visits as part of our 0-19 service offer.

If your baby is under 28 days old your Community Midwife is able to support with Breast Feeding.
