On the advice of Public Health England we have taken the decision to cancel our Preparation for Birth and Beyond (PBB), Well Baby Clinics, Breastfeeding Groups and  HENRY courses across Leeds during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Preparation for birth and beyond

A six week antenatal course available to all first time parents to help prepare for your baby’s arrival. It looks at understanding baby, birth, feeding, sleep and relationships. You can find out more from your midwife.

Courses are currently suspended as part of the coronavirus restrictions, however we do have some digital resources which you may find useful.

Please book after you are 25 weeks pregnant and before 34 pregnant

HENRY programme

This is for parents or carers of children aged 0-5 years. Free to join and run locally in Children’s Centres. It covers parenting confidence, physical activity for little ones, what children and families eat, family lifestyle habits and enjoying life as a family.

Breast feeding groups 

All breast feeding groups are currently suspended as part of the coronavirus restrictions. 

Although we are unable to offer breastfeeding support groups and specialist clinics, We are able to offer support via telephone or virtual methods. Please contact us on through our SPA on 0113 8435683.

If your baby is under 28 days old your Community Midwife is able to support with Breast Feeding.
