Thanks a Bunch Shannon and Roz!
This week’s Thanks a Bunch went to the Community Gynaecology Admin Team Administrator, Shannon Harper, and Management Support Officer, Roz Armitage. They were nominated by Sexual Health Service Manager, Adele Archer, for their excellent patient care, and their dedication and enthusiasm in all their work.
Adele described how Shannon and Roz have worked tirelessly to ensure the service has been able to deliver patient care. They have worked alongside Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) to ensure the joint patient waiting list was accessible by all and have “moved mountains” to ensure patients that have been waiting for such a long time, because of the pandemic, have now been seen or have an appointment to be seen in the coming weeks. This is a great example of partnership working, good communication and ensuring the best care for our patients.
Adele said: “They were never going to give up what felt like a battle at the time as they are so passionate and dedicated. They are a credit to the team and the organisation and the rest of the staff in the Community Gynaecology Team want to send them a big thank you!”
Laura Smith, Director of Workforce surprised Shannon and Roz at Beeston Hill Health Centre and praised them: “Its always such a privilege to be able to give bunches of flowers to people who absolutely live the values and behaviours of the organisation.”
Roz commented: "I Can't thank Shannon enough, she's just amazing and truly deserves this, she has worked so hard. Thank you I'm really touched, what a lovely Monday morning!"
