Thanks a Bunch Rashpal!
This week’s Thanks a bunch went to Project Manager (Business, Change & Development Service (BCDS), Rashpal Padam. She was nominated by Project Manager, Nicola Day for her amazing organisation and event-planning skills, and her enthusiasm and thoughtfulness.
Nicola wrote about how during the pandemic, Rashpal has been responsible for coordinating hundreds of wellbeing support gifts for colleagues. These have included hampers, refreshments for all bases, hand creams, hundreds of lunches and most recently the Mr Whippys!
Rashpal has single-handedly organised all of this, liaising with suppliers and teams to ensure as many staff as possible are reached - all whilst working and home schooling two young boys for the majority of it.
Nicola praised her colleague, “Rashpal has shown true LCH sprit in caring for one another and I definitely think she should be recognised for this work!”
Jenny Allen, Director of Workforce, surprised Rashpal and commended her saying, “I’ve seen the work you’re doing, worked closely alongside you, and have seen how you care for everybody else and it’s been phenomenal. You’ve worked away in the background and done a fantastic job for everybody else, but we want you to know all your hard work is definitely noticed. It’s so well deserved.”
