Thanks a Bunch Lisa!
This week’s Thanks a bunch went to Service Manager, Lisa Baxby. She was nominated by her team for her encouraging and caring leadership and dedication to her work.
Her team explained that Lisa is a very supportive, approachable and compassionate line manager and “a credit to Wortley Beck”. She always goes above and beyond to help all staff whether that’s professionally or personally. Lisa has implemented new processes and changes in the Integrated Children's Additional Needs Service (ICAN) which have made a positive impact on how things are done. Most recently she has supported both Paediatricians and Admin staff in implementing digital dictation across all 3 hubs, for which Lisa attended all the training to ensure the system was set up correctly to benefit the teams. She always starts work very early and finishes late and always puts others first, showing her dedication and kindness.
Administrative Lead, Stacey Parkinson added, “We appreciate everything you do for all at ICAN and we acknowledge how hard you work, we would be lost without you. On behalf of everyone, thank you, and from myself thank you for being YOU. You are kind, supportive and very understanding and I don’t think I would have gotten through these last few months without you.”
Bryan Machin, Executive Director of Finance and Resources, surprised Lisa and presented her with the Thanks a Bunch award adding, “It is obvious from what the staff have told us that this is very well deserved. Your commitment to work is undeniable and we want to thank you for all your amazing efforts and hard work.”
Lisa is acknowledged for demonstrating the Trust behaviours of: Caring for our patients, Making the best decisions, Leading my example, Caring for one another, Adapting to change and delivering improvements, Working together, and Finding solutions
