Thanks a Bunch Jon!
This week’s Thanks a Bunch went to Dr Jon Barrett, Consultant Psychiatrist for the CAMHS Crisis Team. He was nominated by Interim Crisis Team Manager and Senior CAMHS Practitioner Helen Sellers, for his diligence, compassion and excellent teamwork working in a new role.
Jon joined the team in March 2021 when the team were moving base from Little Woodhouse Hall. Helen explained how the role was very new within the team and Jon worked really hard to establish his position and good working relationships. She acknowledged how he always goes above and beyond to support his colleagues and the wider CAMHS team saying, “Jon puts so much dedication and effort into making sure young people and families of Leeds receive the best possible care and the outcome is always centred to their needs.”
Ed Pepper, Medical Lead for CAMHS said “Jon has worked across CAMHS and in all areas he is the most accessible, reliable source of wisdom. Always there for his colleagues and loved by them. A huge asset to the service and the Trust.”
Ruth Burnett, Executive Medical Director surprised Jon and praised him, “Thank you for all you do for the Trust, you really reflect all the Trust values.”
Jon said, “It’s really touching, and this makes me feel so appreciated. I would love to thank the entire CAMHS team for all their hard work and dedication making my job much easier.”
