Thanks a Bunch Ann!
This week’s Thanks a Bunch went to Ann McDowell, Management Support Officer. She was nominated by Vicki Tillyard on behalf of all the healthcare workers, nurses, administrators for her amazing leadership and efforts throughout the pandemic.
During a difficult time, Ann has continuously gone the extra mile to secure placements, training, and support for all staff. She has been kind, supportive, informative, and friendly always, which has meant individuals feel comfortable and supported to approach her when they are having issues, need work or simply somebody to talk to.
Healthcare Assistant Vicki stated, “She’s the most amazing manager we’ve ever had the privilege to work with. We are all appreciative and grateful for all your efforts and support. We are honoured to know you as a manager but also a friend.”
Bryan Machin, Director of Finance and Resources surprised Ann to thank her for all her hard work and praised her, “The best thing is hearing the fantastic words from staff about how you go about what you do, how you help people, and how valued you are and that’s definitely excellent, so well done.”
A stunned Ann said, “I’m blown away, didn’t expect it at all!”
