LCH has taken part in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (WEI) in since 2011.
LCH will continue to improve organisational performance in the WEI and make a positive difference to our LGBT staff's working environment.
The Stonewall WEI is an integral part of the LCH Equality Strategy which provides a framework to assist LCH becoming an inclusive employer and deliverer of inclusive services.
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring we are an inclusive employer and making the workplace the best it can be for everyone. The Trust has a number of networks which provide an opportunity for staff to discuss equality related issue and share good practice. These include the LGBT Allies Forum, BAME Staff Network and the Disability Network.
We have also arranged sessions exploring and raising awareness about unconscious bias, we have promoted the work we have been doing with Stonewall and promote upcoming events.
Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme
The Stonewall Diversity Champions programme is a framework for creating a workplace that enables all staff to reach their full potential, this includes LGBT staff.
