Travel Health and Immunisation Service

The Travel Health and Immunisation Service runs the Overseas Travel Clinic at Leafield Clinic. It is a fee-payable NHS service and provides travel health advice, immunisations, malaria prevention and travel health related items. The service is available to those living in Leeds or beyond.

The clinic provides individual advice based on the length and type of travel planned.

The team is run by Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust supported by medical staff from the Infectious Diseases Unit at St James’s Hospital.

The clinic offers a service to individuals on personal and family travel, and also provides occupational health immunisations for small, medium and large organisations.

Booking an appointment

Personal and Individual Appointments

You can make appointments to attend the clinic by calling 0113 295 1723. The booking service will be open to take calls between Monday - Friday 9 am to 5pm. To attend the clinic you must have a pre-booked appointment.

Our booking staff are legally unable to provide travel health advice over the telephone.

Organisation Occupational Immunisations

We understand that staff away from work costs organisations money. When there are more than five individual we will visit your offices, factory or business park to provide our services on site. We will arrange requirements prior to our visit to ensure that our service meets all your expectations. To book a visit or to discuss your organisations requirements please contact our booking service, one of our team will take your details and our clinical coordinator will call you back.

The overseas travel clinic at Leafield offers appointments at the following times:

Tuesday 1pm to 3.15pm and 5pm to 7.30pm

Wednesday 1pm to 3.15pm and 5pm to 7.30pm

Payment

The service is not provided as part of the free health care under the NHS. We keep our prices as low as possible and our focus is to provide affordable travel health protection.

We accept payment by debit/credit card, cash and cheque (with card).
