Language Liaison Service 

The Language Liaison Service provides interpreting support and advice to health professionals, clients and community groups in Leeds.

The service provides:

·               home visits with healthcare professionals to interpret and provide cultural advice

·               interpreting at baby clinics

·               cultural advice/training sessions for healthcare professionals.

The service is provided when support is requested by the healthcare professional, health visitor, school nurse or district nurse.  This will usually be within the patient’s home or baby clinic, but the service can be delivered from other community premises.
